When traveling with your pet it is important to be as prepared as possible. Most every state and every country have different requirements when traveling with your pet. We recommend that as soon as you know you will be traveling you check out the aphis website or the Fly With My Pet Website with the links provided below.
Here you can search different states and countries and the requirements for bringing pets in. Failure to research ahead of time could result in not being able to travel with your pet or require quarantine of pet once you enter your destination.
It is also important to know that after an international health certificate is completed by the local veterinarian you will have to send it off to be endorsed by a USDA veterinarian or by using the VEHCS (Veterinary Export Health Certification System). Information provided below.
