As we prepare for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) we want you to know that we are committed to the health and safety of you, your pets and our employees. It is likely that most of you have already been affected by the precautions regarding COVID-19.
We will be starting a new protocol for appointments.
ALL clients will be asked to remain outside of the building for all appointments except in the case of emergencies and euthanasia appointments.
When you arrive for your appointment please call the hospital. A technician will come and take a history to confirm what treatments your pet will receive. The tech will take your pet inside for the treatments, and the receptionist will call you to check you out over the phone. If you need to speak with the doctor they will call you to discuss your pet.
In addition, we are not scheduling any new elective surgeries at this time in order to conserve our limited supplies for emergency use. We will still schedule dental cleanings, cat neuters, and other urgent surgeries if they are approved by our doctors.
We know this is a difficult time and this policy will take some getting used to, but we feel it is an important step in reducing the transmission of this virus to protect you and our staff.
Please call us with any questions or concerns you may have.
